Charlee has had a crush on Dexter since she was fifteen. He's the bad boy of the town and the one everyone talks about. Charlee is a swimming teacher. Dexter is operating the ski lifts when they break down and Charlee's mother dies and her father critically injured. Suspicions arise and yet they both still like each other.

It was an alright book. I didn't hate it, but at the same time it wasn't anything to write home about. The characters were believable and nice. The plot was okay.

Not a whole lot more than that. Will I read this book again? Not now, but perhaps in a few years. I think I would rather have borrowed this book from a library or something. It's not something I really care to buy.

I'm sorry, but I don't really think much of this book. There was so much drama I was feeling sick. I hate the kind of drama that's in this book. People getting pregnant, trust all over the place, and everyone is out of their blimin minds!

Everything was too fake and unreal. It was corny, you know? Not a good read. I kept having to put the book down because I needed to simultaneously hurl and roll my eyes. I couldn't stand the teen angst that was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overdone.

Pity points. That's what my two stars are. Definitely not my kind of book. But if you love drama that's all over the place, by all means ignore me and read this book.

I know, it's just y opinion and the book may actually be considered good to a lot of people, but if you really want to read this book that badly you're going to have to find it yourself. I simply can't stomach it.

Another amazing read by Jennifer L. Armentrout/J. Lynn!

Sydney is a little shy when it comes to guys. Her last boyfriend screwed her over and then called her frigid afterwards. It's no wonder she's a little timid when it comes to the opposite sex. Except for her best friend, Kyler. She also happens to be in love with him.

Kyler is a player (aren't all the hot guys players?). He's yummy and he's sweet and caring and sleeps with anything that moves. Oh, and he's totally into Sydney. But he acts like the big brother I always wanted/the dad I could've done without. Very protective of his sweet little Syd.

This. Book. Was. AWESOME! I read it and finished it the day it was released. Surely that should tell you something... I couldn't put the effing book down! It was sooooooooooooooooooo good. Probably as good and melted mint choc chip and cookie dough ice cream mixed together with that chocolate sauce that hardens on top. Maybe even better.

One thing I've always loved about Jennifer L. Armentrout/J. Lynn's writing is her characters. They are always so relatable. It's why I loved Katy from the Lux series. It's why I love Sydney from Frigid. The reader can understand her. It's a problem I often times find with authors; they have a good story but no characters that the reader can relate to.

Now I can't really relate to Kyler, but he's a dude, and he slept with everything that moved before he dropped everything for Sydney. I haven't slept with everything that moves, and I have no intention of doing so in the future. Unless it's a bunch of my favorite fictional characters from all of my favorite books. That would be wicked cool...

But at the same time I understand why he slept with all of those. If you're pining for someone you don't think you'll end up with you might want to make yourself move on. I think they way he did it was definitely a dude move. Most girls wouldn't do that. I'm pretty sure most guys with good looks would.

The story was great. I couldn't stop laughing when Sydney got drunk. She was freaking hilarious. Kyler was so cocky it was great. Who doesn't love a cocky dude about to have his ass handed to him by an amazing chick? It's pretty sweet.

Do you really need me to praise this book any more? Get off your lazy ass and buy the book!

Okay, so the marked men books are definitely my favorite at the moment. I loved Rule and Shaw, they were perfect together and complete together. I may even love Jet and Ayden even more. And I definitely can't wait for Rome and Cora's story.

Jet and Ayden have unfinished business in the bedroom. Yup. Because good-girl Ayden has a big bad secret and Jet might just have some daddy issues. When everything around them turns to hell, will they turn towards each other?

Alright, I think that was a nice little snazzy summery of the book. It was HOTT, and emotionally riveting. You just can't escape this kind of heat that Jet and Ayden have. It's intoxicating. I loved it.

Good things: Ayden and Jet are AWESOME! Their emotions were palpable, the story was real, and I just couldn't put the book down.

Bad things: I wished the book never ended.

There's something about tattooed, piercings (in all of the right places, if you get my drift), bad boys that is irresistible. Rome and Cora's story is going to be epic!

Read the book. Then thank me afterwards (grin like a maniac)

I have mixed feeling about this book. And I'll tell you right now that there are a few itty-bitty spoilers below, so stop reading if you don't want to know why I have mixed feeling. If you do want to know, please, continue reading. That being said, they really are only itty-bitty spoilers so if you're looking for some big juicy spoilers you may want to look elsewhere.

Okay, so Jack is a cocky bastard who wants the one thing that he's not about to get--attention from miss awesomesauce Cassie. She doesn't fawn all over him like his other female admirers, so of course he wants her. It's a repetitive theme, so he's completely cliché.

Cassie gives him a chance, they fall in love, blah blah blah, oh, and then he cheats on her. Aren't men just wonderful? And then he decides to marry the girl he cheated with because she claims to be pregnant and he's a sucker. You couldn't have just waited until after this co-called 'baby' was born to have a pregnancy test and then see if the kid was yours and then marry the slut?

Sluts like the girl he married are the bitches in this world that give the rest of us girls a hard time when it comes to love and such. And men like Jack are the idiots who fall for the bitches shit. And I get that Jack has issues when it comes to his parents and he doesn't want it to be that way for his kids, but come on, and least make sure there is a kid before getting tied down. Especially to a gold digger.

The flip side of this was that the book was well written and really stirred up my emotions. I hated some characters, loved others, and wanted to wring several characters necks for being total idiots. But the author really knew how to make me as the reader all twisted up inside and fuming for days after I had finished the book. That is one mean skill there.

I do not typically like the princess fantasy that most girls have at one point or another. I usually stay far, far away from books that have royalty in them. Because they're cheesy, stereotypical, and everything that I really hate.

And yet, I bought this book. I read the description and I took a chance. And you know what? I freaking loved this book. It is completely different from the kind of stuff I like, but still utterly amazing.

Sam is a girl who lost her mother and is on her way to losing her father. She's in college, earning her master's degree in wildlife biology. She loves her birds. And then she's invited to dinner with a duchess. Oh course, she thinks that the duchess is going to donate to the bird program.

Only, the duchess tells Sam some pretty big news, and it has nothing to do with the bird program at the raptor center. Oh, and lets not forget the dashing young prince Alex. Yummy. The heat between those two is palpable.

This is a book I would normally scoff at. But I loved it. And I plan on reading it again and again. I love the cover. I love the characters. I love the chemistry between Alex and Sam. I love the story and the craziness that comes with it. I think that this book is fabulous.
