So I'm going to say that this is not my normal StS post. I got mainly nonfiction books for Christmas. I'm not normally a nonfiction kind of girl, but I asked for these and I'll explain why in a minute. Here is what I was given:

This coming May is the next election in the UK. It'll be my first time voting, but I honestly don't have a clue when it comes to British politics. So I asked my family to get me a book on it. And I guess I'll have to start watching British news now. Thank forever for the Internet. Otherwise it would be a pain, being in SK.

The cover alone is drool-worthy. And the synopsis makes it sounds like the story will be amazing. It's a promising combination. So, I'm offering to giveaway one Kindle edition of the book. I have not read the book yet, so if it sucks (I really hope it doesn't) then its totally not on me. But it looks good, so it should be fine.

 I haven't read the other books in this series. I probably should have checked if it was in a series before requesting it on NetGalley, but hey, too late now. I've been assured by fellow readers that this can be read as a standalone. No harm done :) And I can't wait to read it! If you're familiar with my taste in books, you know I love tatted up bad boys. I absolutely LOVE this series. I've read some of the books before and after this one, but I can't say I was all that interested in this one. Its because in series' with books that have multiple character POV's, I usually only want to read their POV's once. But I do love Cage, so I figured I'd give it a shot.

I saw this book on NetGalley and it just looked so fun, I had to request. And the publisher/author (not sure who controls this book) graciously allowed me to read and review it. I can't wait. It just sounds so exciting! Not my normal MO for a book, but I figured WTH, right? Looks good, can't hurt if I decide I don't like it. And it's New Adult too.

I LOVED the first book, Deer in Headlights, and so now I am reading Snake in the Grass. Am-a-zing! Lovin' it :)

I actually read this without knowing there was a first one. And I looked up the first and I can't say I really want to read it after having read this one. It's just told from Harper's POV. And considering I didn't much like Harper I think I'll steer clear of that book. What do you guys think?
