     Wahoo! My second ever meme. My first meme for Stacking the Shelves. Speaking of, does anyone know how meme is pronounced? My friend told me it was pronounced MEM. I thought it was pronounced MEH-MEH, which, BTW is the Turkish word for a girl's rack. Though I think it's spelled differently. My mom thinks it's pronounced MEE-MEE. So anyone know how it's pronounced? I'd really love to know. But I'll be calling it a MEH-MEH even if it's pronounced MEM or MEE-MEE. MEH-MEH sounds cooler. Like French or something.

So I just bought this a couple of days ago and it sounds really good. Hopefully I'll find time soon to read it, but I've got a HUGE pile of books (both virtual and tangible) that need to be read. So we'll see where that goes.

Okay, so technically I'm reading this at the moment. But this is one of those books that takes a while to get into and I get bored really fast so I keep putting it down and finishing faster, lighter reads which aren't nearly as good. I'm hoping to strong-arm myself into getting back to this. I hate when I do this and book a book done. It totally kills the book for me. This also happens to be the fourth book in the Rae Wilder series. Good books. But their complex, and you can't be a twitchy ADHD reader with them. You have to get into it and then they'll rock your world.

Days of Blood & Starlight by Laini Taylor

Okay, so this is another book I'm supposed to be reading. It just takes a while to get into it. And I will. Eventually. But right now I'm being a total cucumber and laying around chillin'. Bad, bad cucumber. This is the second book in the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy. They have epic covers, if you didn't already notice.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and I thought it sounded pretty interesting. It's something on my to-review list. If I can give up contemporary New Adult for a couple of days I can get these other books here read. It's unlikely that will happen, but it's worth a shot. This is the first book in the series.
