Someone to Love by Addison Moore
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
It wasn't bad... a good story, really. But I had to keep putting the book down and talking a walk because the book messed with my emotions in an 'oh-my-god-this-is-embarassing' way. And Kenny was kind of an airhead.
Let me start over. Kenny ends up homeless at a frat party and Mr. sexy player (called Cruise), decides to help her out. They start this whole partnership thing over turning Kenny into a player and in the process they (predictably) fall in love.
There are several bumps in the road but we all know how it's going to end, don't we? Yes, it's one of those stories. It's nice and sweet, but come on, be real. I thought the story was great, cliche perhaps, but I liked it.
There seems to be so very many player-turned-boyfriend New Adult books I'm getting a little bored. In fact, I think the only New Adult books I've read (and yes, I've only read a dozen or so), happen to be player-turned-boyfriend type stories. Sorry if I'm getting a little frustrated over that.
If you like this sort of thing, go for it. It was a good book, honestly it was, I'm just in a pissy mood over reading the same thing over and over again. So don't take my word fr it. You may love it.

Synopsis:
What happens when two people who don’t believe in love, happen to fall madly into the most beautiful relationship they could ever imagine? A train wreck.
When twenty-year-old Kendall Jordan transfers clear across country to Garrison University, the last thing she’s looking for is a one-night stand. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what, gorgeous, Cruise Elton offers.
Kendall has long since come to realize that love is an illusion that never lasts, and Cruise couldn’t agree more—but something deep inside her wants him all for herself. So, Kendall devises a seat of the pants plan to “play the player” and proposes that Cruise tutor her in becoming a female version of himself, Garrison University’s own playboy.
Real feelings begin to emerge, and neither Kendall nor Cruise know how to classify them. Everything they once thought they knew is redefined as they discover, in one another, Someone to Love.

I love comments! So don't hesitate to share your thoughts. Leave your blog/website name and link so I can get back to you. And if you're a new follower, tell me. Note that this is an award-free zone. I loved getting awards and I was pleased you guys thought I was special, but I was nominated so many times and it took a lot of time to do the award posts, time that I don't have. So thanks, but no thanks.
Happy reading!
