This week's mad word is...
And the book I found this word in (it may be in others as well) City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare. It's near the end of the book, where Clary shreds the ship Valentine is on. I can't provide a specific reference, only because I borrowed City of Ashes from the library and no longer have it.
Synopsis:
Clary Fray just wishes that her life would go back to normal. But what's normal when you're a demon-slaying Shadowhunter, your mother is in a magically induced coma, and you can suddenly see Downworlders like werewolves, vampires, and faeries?
