This book rocked. I wanted to strangled Avery several times, but it's kind of hard to strangle a fictional character. Cam was what we all anticipated and what we all wanted: HOTT!

The moment you begin reading you know Avery has had some issues in her past involving a guy, or maybe more than one guy. And she meets mister delicious (aka Cam) the usual way. She ran into him, of course. Books went flying, pens went rolling, and it was love at first sight.

Well, not exactly.

It took like five months for them to get their first kiss. And you learn that Cam has his own secret issues. It's perfect. But I think Avery's issues are definitely worse. I still wanted to strangle her for her stupidity, but she was pretty screwed over.

Now, my favorite two authors in the entire universe are Jennifer L. Armentrout and J. Lynn. They're kind of tied for first place. *grinning* I've liked everything I've read by the, so far. And I have nothing bad to say about any of their books. Just wanted to point that out people.

I think you can guess what I think of this book from the rating I've given it. It was terrible. Absolutely horrendous. Worst book I've ever read. Thumbs down.

Just kidding.

I freaking loved the book. Another hit by J. Lynn (aka Jennifer L. Armentrout... ah haha! You see what I did there). This book was awesome. It's awesomeness had it's own awesomesocks to go with it. Totally, completely, wicked cool.

Have I expressed my opinion well enough? If not, please do tell me and I will elaborate for you because obviously I was not clear in my feelings for this book.

Synopsis:

Some things are worth waiting for…

Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.

Some things are worth experiencing…

Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.

Some things should never be kept quiet…

But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?

And some things are worth fighting for…

If you haven't already, I would advise adding this book to your TBR pile. Just saying. This book could kick your butt nine ways from Sunday.

I love comments! So don't hesitate to share your thoughts. Leave your blog/website name and link so I can get back to you. And if you're a new follower, tell me. Note that this is an award-free zone. I loved getting awards and I was pleased you guys thought I was special, but I was nominated so many times and it took a lot of time to do the award posts, time that I don't have. So thanks, but no thanks.

Happy reading!
